Regional Webinar on EU Urban Wastewater Treatment Directive

The EU4Green Recovery East (EU4GRE) programme held a regional webinar introducing the fundamentals of the EU Urban Wastewater Treatment Directive (UWWTD), both the original 91/271/EEC and the updated Directive (EU) 2024/3019. This session raises awareness of new requirements, explore technical and institutional implications for EU's Eastern Partnership countries, and present tools such as the Structured Implementation and Information Framework (SIIF). Participants also heared from EU Member State experiences and learnt about upcoming EU support at national and regional levels.
