The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), partner of the EU4Green Recovery East consortium, is implementing Technology Foresight (TF) studies on circular economy in Armenia and Moldova.
What is Technology Foresight?
Technology Foresight is a strategic, participatory methodology that brings together stakeholders from government, business, academia, and civil society to explore emerging technologies, innovation trends, and systemic transformations. In the context of circular economy, Technology Foresight exercises identify priority technologies, practices, and pathways to integrate circularity across key product value chains, providing actionable inputs for national strategies and evidence-based policymaking.
Participate in the Technology Foresight exercise
The Technology Foresight (TF) exercises in Armenia and Moldova invite stakeholders who wish to take part in this forward-looking process to register via the online form for interested stakeholders in Armenia (Registration form) and Moldova (Registration form), as preparations for the launch are underway.
Support the Technology Foresight studies
In parallel, UNIDO is inviting qualified international organizations to express their interest to support the development of Technology Foresight (TF) studies. The deadline for submission of expression of interest is February 8th, 17:00 CET. Full details (ref. 7000008266) are available on UNIDO’s procurement platform: https://www.unido.org/get-involved/procurement/procurement-opportunities. Through these Technology Foresight studies, the EU and UNIDO aim to strengthen circular economy planning, foster innovation, and support sustainable industrial development aligned with EU environmental objectives across the region.
