Stakeholders in the Republic of Moldova have validated the priority value chains that will guide circular economy pilot activities under the EU-funded EU4Green Recovery East programme.
During an online validation workshop held on 21 July 2026, around 40 representatives from government institutions, the private sector, research organisations and business associations reviewed the results of a screening exercise covering agri-food and beverage, textiles and apparel, plastics, and construction materials.
Following discussions, stakeholders confirmed clothing and wine as the two priority value chains for future circular economy pilot activities.
The workshop was organised by e-Circular as part of the circular economy activities implemented by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) under the EU-funded EU4Green Recovery East programme (2025-2026).
